Sink deep into the stories and culture of traditional owners and marvel at the extraordinary ingenuity of farmers and miners. Your journey will conclude in one of the loveliest parts of Western Australia, the vast sandy beaches of Broome.

Day 1 - Uluru

Welcome to the very heart of Australia. Begin your discovery of the Red Centre this afternoon with a visit to the Uluru and Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Enjoy your Special Stay for the next two nights where you will enjoy a welcome dinner.

Please book your flight to arrive into Uluru prior to 02:30 PM.

Day 2 - Uluru

Freechoice: Be filled with wonder as the sun rises over Uluru, followed by breakfast and an informative walking tour of significant sights around its base. Alternatively, see the desert from the top of a camel or enjoy a trek around the base of Uluru.

Discover the mysteries of Kata Tjuta and Walpa Gorge during your afternoon visit.

 Optional flight - View Uluru and Kata Tjuta from the air (at additional cost, must be booked before departure).

Tonight, enjoy a unique dining experience set amidst the ‘Field of Light’. With Uluru as a back drop, as the sun sets and the lights start to twinkle, just like the stars above, you’ll enjoy canapés and authentic Australian cuisine.

Day 3 - Uluru > Kings Canyon

Travel to the rugged Kings Canyon. Walk along the canyon floor for a relaxed walk.

Optional flight - An opportunity to gaze in wonder at this amazing canyon from the air on a scenic flight (at additional cost, must be booked before departure).

Your overnight stay is Kings Canyon.

Day 4 - Kings Canyon > Alice Springs

Observe the majesty of the East MacDonnell Ranges as you approach Alice Springs, Australia’s most famous outback town. Enjoy a city tour, including a visit to the legendary Royal Flying Doctor Service, then check into your hotel for a two night stay. Dinner tonight is served outdoors and is an outback bush BBQ with bush damper cooking and entertainment by a bush balladeer.

Day 5 - Alice Springs

Freechoice: Journey by 4WD to the oasis of Palm Valley or experience the grandeur of the West MacDonnell Ranges and Standley Chasm.

Day 6 - Alice Springs > The Ghan

Visit Anzac Hill for panoramic views of Alice Springs before an Aboriginal Cultural Tour to the Alice Springs Desert Park and a visit to the School of Air. All aboard for your overnight Special Stay on the famous Ghan train (Gold Service). This is one of the world’s greatest train journeys. Relax in the Outback Explorer Lounge before dinner in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant.

Day 7 - The Ghan > Darwin

Enjoy breakfast on board as you gaze out of the window taking inspiration from the ever-changing landscape. Upon arrival in Katherine, choose between a guided cruise through Katherine Gorge, where you will marvel at the towering red ochre sandstone walls and hear stories of the Jawoyn people or enjoy The Ghan’s cultural experience that will take you to the heart of this area. Create your own Indigenous painting, learn to throw a spear and hear ancient Dreamtime tales. Reboard the train and travel to Darwin for a four night stay.

Day 8 - Darwin

Freechoice: Cruise on the Adelaide River, home to the ‘jumping crocodiles’ or visit Litchfield National Park. Take the hop-on-hop-off bus around town or the WWII Bombing of Darwin tour.

Enjoy dinner tonight at the hotel.

Day 9 - Darwin

Relax and enjoy your surroundings before dinner.

Day 10 - Darwin

Freechoice: Choose a cruise on the Adelaide River, home to the ‘jumping crocodiles’ or take a day trip to Litchfield National Park. Alternatively, enjoy a sunset cruise on Darwin Harbour, take the hop-on-hop-off bus around town or the WWII Bombing of Darwin tour.

Day 11 - Darwin > Kakadu National Park

Travel to the amazing World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park and marvel at ancient Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock. Visit Bowali Visitors Centre for a greater understanding of the area before cruising on Yellow Water Billabong, spotting crocodiles and birdlife. Overnight stay in Kakadu.

Day 12 - Kakadu National Park > Katherine

Optional flight - Take an optional flight over Kakadu National Park for a bird’s-eye view of the wetlands and rocky terrain (at additional cost, please book prior to departure).

Heading south, you’ll stop at Pine Creek, named after the many pine trees that Overland Telegraph workers found during the construction of this incredible telegraph line, which connected Australia to the rest of the world in 1872. Visit Nitmiluk National Park, home to the breathtaking Katherine Gorge. Tonight, enjoy a Special Stay at your lodge, nestled in natural bush.

Be transported into the spiritual world of the Jawoyn people and explore their culture and history on a dinner cruise through Katherine Gorge. Enjoy the stories with the magnificent backdrop of towering cliff faces that change colour as the sun sets

Day 13 - Katherine > Kununurra

Journey to Western Australia and let the vast expanse of the Kimberley slowly reveal itself. Visit Lake Argyle, the largest lake in the Southern Hemisphere, before joining your cruise down the spectacular Ord River. Arrive at Kununurra for your two night stay.

Day 14 - Kununurra

Optional flight - Opt for a flight over the Bungle Bungles and a chance to see the orange and black stripes of these massive sandstone structures (at additional cost, please book prior to departure).

Day 15 - Kununurra > El Questro

Travel along the Gibb River Road to the acclaimed El Questro Wilderness Park. Set in the untamed Kimberley landscape, El Questro began life as a working cattle station. Enjoy a two night Special Stay in deluxe tented cabins at Emma Gorge.

Optional El Questro Homestead upgrade - Take the opportunity to upgrade your stay to the deluxe El Questro Homestead, an exclusive retreat perched atop the magnificent Chamberlain gorge (at additional cost, must be booked prior to departure and will substitute accommodation and touring activities).

Day 16 - El Questro

Freechoice: Choose to take a cruise through Chamberlain Gorge or a culture and history tour of El Questro, learning about traditional medicines, hunting techniques and the use of fire.

Sunset Drinks
Relax over evening drinks at the airstrip while capturing stunning views of the sunset over the Cockburn Ranges.

Day 17 - El Questro > Halls Creek

Admire the striking colours of the massive Carr Boyd Ranges as you travel the Great Northern Highway to Halls Creek. Visit a local Indigenous gallery. Tonight, stay at your hotel in Halls Creek, on the northern edge of the Great Sandy Desert or similar.

Day 18 - Halls Creek > Fitzroy Crossing

Visit China Wall, a natural white stone wall that looks like the Great Wall of China. Visit the Mimbi Caves and hear the dreamtime stories of the Gooniyandi people. A Kimberley experience 350 million years in the making. Stay overnight at Fitzroy Crossing.

Day 19 - Fitzroy Crossing > Broome

Arrive at the town of Broome, the jewel of the Kimberley. With a rich history in pearling and a strong multicultural foundation, you’ll fall in love with this unique town. Enjoy a two night stay.

Day 20 - Broome

Freechoice: Discover the rare and beautiful Australian South Sea Pearl on a tour of Willie Creek Pearl Farm or enjoy a colourful and informative tour taking in the city sights on a Harley-Davidson™ Trike. Alternatively, enjoy a cultural experience of Broome with an indigenous local or soak up the views from the top of a

Finish the day with a farewell dinner with new found friends as you reminisce about your adventures.

Day 21 - Broome

It’s time to leave the wonders of the Kimberley behind and head home, taking wonderful memories with you.
